After graduating from the University of Mauritius, Irshad relocated to the UK to complete his ACCA studying and training. Having qualified in 2003, he joined Sharpe Fairbrother in 2004 as an audit senior and later moved to the property department. In 2008, Irshad moved to Hazlems Fenton as part of the merger with Sharpe Fairbrother.

Irshad now heads the property department looking after a portfolio with a combined net worth of around £400 million. The property department provides services including: statutory, tax and VAT advice in both UK and various European jurisdictions; corporate finance and debt restructuring; covenant reporting and compliance for debt providers; management reporting for equity providers; management support and consultancy services. More recently, the property department has taken on the role of financial advisors to Law of Property Act (LPA) Receivers.
